How to...make progress in your career this month
Here are five actions I want you to take in March. Time to get intentional!
Can you believe it’s March already? This year has flown and whilst I’m grateful that my days are so busy, there’s part of me that is freaking out about how fast time is going this year - professionally and personally. (My daughter turns 10 on Monday - I can’t believe it!)
If you’re a corporate bod, you may think and plan in quarters. The 31st March marks the end of Q1 and means we are officially a quarter of the way through 2024 - eek!
But don’t panic.
If you’re reading here and wondering…
“Where did the time go already?”
“What have I done to further my leadership skills and my career?”
“Wait… I haven’t done anything yet. S**t.”
Then I’ve got your back.
There’s still plenty of time left this month to pick up on your professional intentions and actions for 2024. And by taking some steps now, you’ll be in better shape for the rest of the year and able to make real progress.
Today I want to talk about planning out the month of March in terms of your professional development, so let's break it down into categories and actions that are highly practical and give you some space and time for essential reflection too.
After the paywall jump, I’m sharing five steps I want you to take this month, to get your development journey back on trac. After all, you don’t want to get to your six month appraisal and be sat there with nothing to say and nothing to show.
Take action now and you’ll thank your professional self in June!
Let’s get to it with number one on the list…
