Welcome back to Lead with Intention! Next week is a special week for me btw, as I will be celebrating my 49th birthday! So there *may* be a special edition of Lead with Intention to mark the occasion!

Today we are continuing with our series on planning for your most successful 2026 in your career.

Last week, I asked you to start reviewing and reflecting on 20205 so far. Many of you may be going through end of year reviews and appraisals right now, so I hope that post was a valuable starting point for those conversations.

Importantly, I also asked you to reflect on your leadership behaviours as well as your achievements and goals. As we progress as leaders in our career, the gift of self-reflection and self-awareness is one that gives us more and more if we take the time for it. That’s also why successful leaders work with a coach - we offer the time, space and freedom (plus all the right questions) to help you reflect on and identify the habits and behaviours that will help you be at your best as a leader.

This week, our series on 2026 planning continues with what I actually think is a critical part of the puzzle and one we often neglect.

What’s your VISION for 2026 as a leader?
