Your 5 year career blueprint (bookmark this!)
Let's get intentional about your career plan and design in 2025
Welcome back! This is the last Lead with Intention newsletter before Christmas. I’m taking a break next week (and I hope you all are!) and will be back with a fresh set of inspiration, advice and coaching support to help you maximise your career potential in 2025 and beyond. (We’re going to talk about the “beyond” today!)
Thank you for your support this year, and do let me know what topics I can help you with in your career as we move forward. I’m always open to requests!
Today’s newsletter is a paid one - and it's one I want you to bookmark, save and pull out when you have some downtime over the festive break - we’re going to design your five year career plan (a blueprint if you will), so you can start 2025 full of intention for your best year at work yet.

Whether you’re seeking a promotion, transitioning to a new role, or simply wanting to future-proof your career, having a clear 5 year plan is one of the best ways to set yourself up for success. I did this exercise with my husband 10 years ago (over a glass of wine in a San Francisco cafe) where we were discussing our future life plans.
This version is tailored to your career, but you can also adapt it for other areas of your life.
I found this exercise transformational and as I close out my second full year in my leadership coaching business, it feels like a great time for me to do this again! So I’ll be doing this alongside you.
A 5 year plan isn’t about rigidly mapping every step, but about creating a direction of travel. It’s about setting clear priorities and creating the habits and strategies that will help you thrive, even when the path takes unexpected twists. (And you KNOW there’ll be some turns in the road!)
Today, i’m breaking down how to develop your own 5 year career plan that not only keeps you on track, but also allows you to reflect, pivot, and grow along the way.
And if you do this exercise at home, and want some coaching support with it, or want to use this as a basis for further reflection with a coach, then you can book in a one to one with me to do just that! Just reply to this email for further details.
